At Privacy, your security is a priority! That’s why we offer two-factor authentication (2FA) to further protect your profile. With this feature enabled, only you — with the code generated by an authenticator app — will be able to access your account. 💪

🛡️ What is two-factor authentication?

It is an extra layer of security that requires:

• Your login password (as always);

• A code generated by an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator.

This way, even if someone discovers your password, they won’t be able to access your account without the verification code.

✅ How to enable 2FA on Privacy:

1. Log in to your account as usual.

2. Go to the main menu and click on “Security and Privacy”.

3. Enable the option “Two-Factor Authentication”.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions:

   • Scan the QR Code with your authenticator app;

   • Enter the code generated by the app;

   • Done! Your account is now protected with 2FA. 🔒

📱 Do I need to download an app?

Yes! To enable 2FA, you need to install an authenticator app such as:

• Google Authenticator (Android and iOS)

• Authy

• Microsoft Authenticator

They are free and secure. 😉

🧠 Extra tip:

Write down the backup code that will be generated during activation! It is essential in case you lose your phone or need to reinstall the authenticator app.
